CiAOiFilm.net • CiAO Alert #37 • Thursday, December 8, 2011 |
Monthly meeting for December is Monday 12th at 6:30 pm. The Last Meeting Of The Year! (And What A Year It Was)
Holiday cookies and punch will be provided.
After you join, you can see all of the projects currently in development and in various stages of production (mostly local (-ish)) and join those projects to receive information and updates. If there is something you would like to do on the project, you can contact them and make inquiries. You will find projects there like Paul Hildebrandt's recently-completed 30-second TV commercial entry for the Doritos Crash the Super Bowl contest, the zombie-themed "Day Of The Dorito", and currently in-development and in-production short films by Shawn Dyer and Heidi Moore ("WURMS") and Joshua Siegel ("Toxin"), among many others. btw — The official premiere date for Shawn Dyer's recently-completed short film, "Fly", is Saturday, January 21st at 2 pm at the Pageant Theatre. Congratulations to all of our filmmakers this year, and those who worked with them, actors and crew and others, and to the very successful premiere of the first annual Show Us Your Shorts Film Festival (which will be receiving a new name shortly due to trademark issues, so watch for that — as if this year's festival wasn't wonderful enough, next year promises to be bigger and better – they have already started work on next year's fest, so contact them if you want to help out and be a part of what will undoubtedly soon be seen as one of the best short film festivals on the west coast). Let's see if we can duplicate all these successes in 2012. (or triplicate them) Merry Xmas and Happy Holidays and Season's Greetings and Happy New Year to everyone.
